Risner Cutlery and Austin's Grandfather) served onboard during his time in the U.S. Navy. I’m a fan of single-blade Barlow knives. This Risner Lake Champlain is a reat example. It’s well put together. No gaps or cracks anywhere. Nothing crooked. The micarta covers offer satisfying grip. And it’s one of the sharpest out of the box knives I’ve ever received. I can whittle hair with it. I’ll be looking for more Barlows from Risner.
Great knife. Built like a tank. Awesome walk and talk. The CV Lake Champlain box and post card were a bonus.
