This just might be my favorite slip joint I've ever handled. I've never had anything made by Reate before, so why not right?
Everything is so well done all the way around. Zero gaps, zero play. Great walk and talk, just the right pull for me. The textured G-10 is almost soft to the touch, it's hard to describe but I really dig it. The blade is very well done, and all grinds are even, easily hair shaving sharp. I'm loving the hand finished look, I'm not sure what to call it, gives a slightly dark look. Highly recommend it if you're on the fence at all. I purchased at $185 and I haven't seen anything come close to this in finish at this price.
