The Ohio River Jack is back baby!!! This time featuring a bunch of improvements. Let's start with the blade. These new ORJs feature an S90V hollow ground, belt satin blade and they are nice!!! I improved the long double sided nail pulls to feature a crisp, unchamfered edge for easier pinching. I also added a beautiful swedge to the front of the blade. And let's not forget about the new jimping along the blade spine! The pivot screw is rounded instead a flat for easier drive/bit access and the handle screws are flat to blend in with the jigged titanium handles! Overall, I am so proud to bring this design back for everyone to enjoy. Thank you guys for all of the support!

Between the design, build quality and the price, the Ohio River Jack is very hard to beat. The jigged titanium is both aesthetically pleasing and provides a nice feel in hand. I decided on this Sheepsfoot model as I wanted this as a secondary carry that would excel at utility tasks, and this blade shape is perfect for that. The S90V seems to be heat treated excellently and the walk and talk is VERY good and very strong. A 7/10 for strength is accurate, in my opinion. All of the machining is flawless on the knife I received, the backspacer is completely flush and there's no sharp edges apart from the edge of the blade.
The hollow grind is done deep enough that you should have no issue keeping this knife for decades to come and the materials used will hold up for far longer. Some knives give me buyers remorse when I get them, this did not for a second. Austin's designs with QSP's newly improved manufacturing processes makes for a slipjoint that rivals brands and models that are double the price.
Fit and finish, packaging, sharpness everything is perfection. I will definitely be ordering again.

I'm a big fan of the Ohio River Jacks - an original design by Austin at TPK. I had all of the blade options in the original, including two of those in the awesome jigged titanium. The new hollow ground S90V blades are awesome and the knives are attractively priced. Whether you are a fan of the original ORJs or new to the model, I definitely recommend picking up one of these beauties.
