The Finch Holliday is everything I hoped it would be. Superb fit and finish. Wicked sharp. And best of all- it’s mine. Thanks for great service in getting it to me quickly during the holiday rush.
If you enjoy a solid flipper, this is one for you! All I can say is get one and you will be impressed. It has a very smooth transition from the Micarta to the Aluminum!
I order my Finch Holliday (awesome knife & going to get a 2nd) and within 15 minutes I get a notification that it’s being processed for shipping. Austin took the time to answer questions & provide product clarification. I’ll be back.
I just can't say enough good about the Finch Holliday. For me it's a perfect EDC. I generally carry it as a secondary but part of that is because I don't want to trash on it at work. I own well over 100 folders many of them cost 2X+ and the Holliday is nearly always with me.
The fit and finish are unmatched, for instance how the scales meet up with the bolsters is seamless and how all of the corners/edges have been tumbled. The blade came MUCH sharper then the usual factory sharp, as a matter of fact it's as sharp as I get them even after polishing.
The action is as smooth as glass and the geometry in the flipper gives the blade an instant deployment whether it's light switchef or pushbuttoned.
I own 2 of these (micarta & Snakewood) and fully intend on picking up the white scales, smooth bone I think. (???)
WELL worth the purchase price.
Ohhh, the stickers were a nice touch. 👍👍
The bad, a little high in price relative to blade steel and handle, a bit heavy. Very much outweighed by the good. It is a good blade steel, not a supersteel but certainly OK for intended use. The build quality is excellent. Where this knife really shines is the design. Excellent ergos in hand, carries nice. Gotta like the glowing Finch shield. I like this even more than I thought I would.
