QSP Exclusive Penguin Plus Knife QS130XL Black Jigged Titanium M390

This is my next Penguin for my collection. I own several of them, and I even have one XL (20CV), but this one is just perfect.
Whether it’s the M390, the color, the jigged scales, or its sharpness.
The only thing I regret is that I didn't order more when I already paid for shipping across half the globe.

The QSP Penguin is a classic and was one of the first "budget" designs to offer some serious quality and value before they became commonplace. The Penguin Plus remixed the formula with an additional deployment method, a roomier grip, and more cutting edge while still keeping things well within a easy EDC footprint. This TPK exclusive takes that winning pattern and kicks it up another level! The star of the show here is the jigged pattern on the titanium which adds visual interest over the plain slab sided Ti, but more importantly, useful grip. It feels awesome! While I like wire clips, the milled Ti clip actually works great and is perhaps a classier choice. I might have preferred the raw version of this knife (which was sold out), but the blacked out one certainly looks and feels very high quality. I'll also note that I have an earlier non-exclusive version of this knife and this one has a much better balanced detent (my other one is too strong for me to reverse flick off of the thumbstud). This one is just right. Overall, really an exceptional value for the money (especially on sale) and one of the favorite framelocks in my collection for the texture and dialed in dual deployments.

This will be my 4th QSP Penguin and by far my favorite! When the Titanium Frag came out I thought that was the coolest ever. But to me there is no comparison to the Jigged titanium, it looks the best! All the materials on this knife is top notch! I also like the way it feels in my hand and having a flipper and thumb studs is great! I’ve only had it 2 days looking forward to carrying it the rest of the week. Absolutely love this knife and the button lock version as well! Wish I I would have been able to get the regular size frame lock penguin as well to complete the collection but unfortunately it's sold out. If you're thinking about getting one then get one before it's gone.
