Kentucky Holler Jack: Yellow Smooth Bone - Spearpoint 154CM

The yellow bone in particular is gorgeous and I just love the design of this knife. It’s been a little bit since a slipjoint interested me but when I saw this one I had to get it. It’s super sharp out the box and the price is also great for what you’re getting. The walk and talk feels really good and my favorite feature is the easy pull notch they added to the knife. Every slipjoint should have that if you ask me. If you like slipjoints this is a no brainer no matter what color you get.

I saw this knife and wanted to try to buy it. But, so many times I’ve been disappointed and had to return knives. So, I placed the order stipulating several conditions to be met before shipping. The response was almost immediate from Austin. We texted, he sent pictures of candidates for me to select from, we continued to text until we both felt we had identified the knife that met my conditions. He then sent pics of this knife before shipping, just to be sure. Wow! Never been treated like this before. The knife arrived and met every expectation! What a great knife! It’s been in my pocket most days since I got it. It’s small enough to pocket drop it but still big enough to do my edc chores. I love the yellow bone color. So deep and rich looking. I originally wanted the red bone but there weren’t any left, but I’m glad I have the yellow. The pictures don’t do it justice it’s beautiful. The easy open notch is great because the pull is pretty strong (which I like). Worth every penny!
