Over the last few years I have had the pleasure of working with a leather maker/designer in Oregon. These slips are perfect in every way. The leather is a vegetable tanned leather which won`t hold moisture and does not contain any harmful chemicals. Therefor, the knives will be protected from corrosion or damage. Overtime, the leather will stretch to fit any knife. With this knife slip, you can either squeeze or push to have the knife ready for use!

Using an exclusive blend of waxes, oils and tallows, the leather company hot stuff these leathers to bring out their inherent beauty. Through a traditional process called jack glazing, oils are brought to the surface to create a glossy finish that never mask the leather’s natural grain. As a result, Traditional Harness leather is ideal for equestrian gear, yet, when split to a lower weight, it’s equally suitable for leather goods.

Awesome Product

I love these leather knife slips. I now have 3 in various colors. I highly recommend them. They protect the knife and your pockets, are well made, and classy. Awesome product!

Very roomy

Nice leather. Very roomy, plenty big enough for the QSP Hedgehog. Holds it tight and looks good. Shipped fast from TPK.

Simple, Functional, Perfect (like the knives it’s designed to carry)

This is one of those “if you give a mouse a cookie moments” except for me it was an Ohio River Jack. I knew I didn’t just want it kicking around in my pocket. I thought about other slips with built-in clips but then I thought about how I wanted to show off the CRC/TPK brand. I also realized the black leather would go well with my pocket organizer in black leather. It was the right choice. Having this slip lets me carry a knife I normally wouldn’t in my off-hand pocket where I normally have my flashlight clipped in. Since everything about a slip joint is a deliberate cutting process, as much about the art of the action as well as the effect of the action, everything about this slip and its accompanying slip joint have been perfectly suited in my EDC.
